We would like to give our customers an opportunity to test our new features and to actively participate in the development process with feedback and suggestions. I am new to scanning. I have just purchased a Plustek OpticFilm 8100 scanner running SilverFast SE8 software.
- SilverFast HDR is our software variant for processing scanner RAW data. The functionality, adapted from our scanner software, meets highest standards and is ideally suited for image optimization. SilverFast HDR is the ideal complement to SilverFast scanner software.
- SilverFast HDR is a software for processing raw graphic data. It can process both: camera raw data and special raw-scan data provided by SilverFast Ai.
- NegaFix with SilverFast Ai and HDR will enable the user to scan virtually any negative film so that they obtain the maximum dynamic range along with accurate colour rendering. In my view the new Nega Fix feature is a substantial improvement over its predecessor and is comparatively easy to use.
I want to scan Kodachrome slides, but all my trials so far have produced scans (both Prescan and full Scan) which are very dark, even for original slides which are properly exposed (ie original slide is not underexposed).

It seems as if the light in the scanner is not operating at full brightness? OR I have not put the right settings into Silverfast? I have activated both Transparency and Kodachrome in the toolbar.Silverfast 9 Crack
