Chevy T10 4-Speed Transmission Parts & Rebuild Kits While the “Big Three” American car makers couldn't agree on much during the 50s and 60s regarding engine size, horsepower and rear-end ratios, one thing they did agree on was the Borg Warner T10 4-speed transmission, which they all used in various vehicles at that time. The famous four speed T10 transmission, originally introduced by Borg Warner, carries a name all its own. Popular among racers and rodders, the T10 closely resembles the Muncie 4-speed, another well-known transmission in the performance industry. Production of the T-10 continued as an aftermarket replacement transmission for all American makes, and improvements to its design continued in each later updated version. The most popular version of the T-10 among enthusiasts is the Power Brute Super T-10, which was used on the 1974-'82 GM A-Body and F-body cars.
